Ray is a painter and stained glass artist based in Lansing, Michigan.

Ray paints with acrylic, oil, and watercolor and specializes in reverse painting on glass windows. He is one of only a few reverse painters in mid-Michigan. Haven't heard of reverse painting? Check out Ray’s instagram page to see him in action.

Ray has been making stained glass art on and off for almost a decade. He is especially inspired by the stained glass work of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Flip through the pictures below and you will see a number of FLW inspired projects.

At the end of 2020, Ray was comissioned by his son's Los Angeles-based band Lord Huron to create a stained glass Emerald Star, from their third studio album Vide Noir. Ray made 75 of these limited edition items which went up for sale on the bands website on January 25, 2021.
